Promise Nepal works directly with leprosy sufferers and their families in Nepal, especially those who have slipped through the net. We cure and care for them and wherever possible, help them become self-supporting. The solution is a course of drugs which arrests the disease within days and can prevent the deformity which so often leads to abandonment.
We also support purpose-built homes and villages where their special needs are met.
